Mango Sorbet DIY
Sunny Yellow Spring Greeting: Homemade Mango Sorbet
The days in April are becoming milder and the desire for fruity refreshment is growing. Did you know that your Kuvings Slow Juicer can do much more than just make juice?
With the special sorbet strainer, you can turn your juicer into a professional sorbet maker in no time. Enjoy a dessert made from 100% real fruit – completely without artificial additives, but full of flavour!
🥭 What you need
- 🥭 2–3 ripe mangos, diced and frozen in advance, or frozen mango
- 🍋 1 tbsp lemon juice, for an extra fresh kick
- 🍯 1–2 tbsp honey or agave syrup, optional depending on the sweetness of the fruit
✨ Step by step to sorbet happiness
- Insert the sorbet strainer: Replace the juice strainer in your Kuvings Slow Juicer with the special sorbet strainer.
- Let it thaw slightly: Take the frozen mango cubes out of the freezer and let them thaw briefly for approx. 5 minutes. This is gentler on the appliance and makes the sorbet creamier.
- Create the sorbet: Add the mango pieces one after another into the feed chute. Watch as the fine, creamy mixture comes out at the front.
- Refine: Stir in honey or lemon juice if needed and serve the sorbet immediately.
💡 Tip for those with a sweet tooth: A splash of lemon juice not only adds freshness, but also makes the bright mango colour shine even more beautifully!
A fruity treat that tastes especially good on sunny days. Enjoy trying it out!
